Evaluation of Safety Degree at Railway Crossings in Order to Achieve Sustainable Traffic Management: A Novel Integrated Fuzzy MCDM Model

Sustainable traffic system management under conditions of uncertainty and inappropriate road infrastructure is a responsible complex task. In Bosnia Herzegovina (BiH), there large number level crossings which represent potentially risky places in traffic. The current state BiH problem the greatest interest for railway generator accidents. Accordingly, it necessary to identify that are currently priority adoption measures control order achieve sustainability whole system. this paper, Šamac–Doboj section passive have been considered. Fifteen different criteria were formed divided into three main groups: safety criteria, exploitation characteristics, characteristics. A novel integrated fuzzy FUCOM (full consistency method)—fuzzy PIPRECIA (pivot pairwise relative importance assessment) model was determine significance criteria. When calculating weight values Heronian mean operator used their averaging. evaluation performed using MARCOS (measurement alternatives ranking according compromise solution). An original FUCOM–Fuzzy PIPRECIA–Fuzzy created as contribution paper. results showed 42 + 690 (LC4) LC8 (82 291) safest considering all 15 verification through four phases sensitivity analysis: resizing an initial matrix, comparative analysis with other approaches, simulations criterion values, calculation Spearman’s correlation coefficient (SCC). Finally, sustainable performance proposed.
